Emerson is an $18 billion, American multinational corporation headquartered in the United States. This Fortune 500 company manufactures products and provides engineering services for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and consumer markets.
Insinkerator is a division of Emerson and is the world’s largest manufacturer of Waste Disposal Systems and is credited with their invention over 75 years ago.
InSinkErator gathered all its raw data from retailers around the world, without having clear and concise way to sanitize and standardize the data from these multiple sources, and no standard fields in place to easily measure their KPI’s across various locations.
To compound this challenge, InSinkErator needed help extracting, cleansing and merging years of historical data from applications including Oracle eBusiness Suite (R12), Snowflake, IBM AS/400, and Cognos into a new data analytics platform that would provide a holistic view of past and current business, as well as customer and product performance.
Working closely with all stakeholders, Diacto carefully crafted a fully automated data analytics solution that transformed the raw data into holistic dashboards and meaningful KPI reports for InSinkErator’s business leaders.
The various applications were seamlessly connected, transformed, and visualized into the Domo BI Platform, resulting in significantly less manual effort for management to receive actionable insights.
Diacto’s solution automated the connection, transformation, and visualization of multiple data sources, resulting in greater visibility and improved inventory management across the organization.
Business stakeholders receive automated alerts to quickly identify and respond to issues such as inventory excess or shortages, inventory turnover, and inventory aging. This allows real-time action to prevent or mitigate the impact of these issues on operations and the bottom line.
With the help of APIs and automation tools, Diacto can help bring all your data together to analyze and visualize.
